Extract the transactions
Upload the bank statement PDF and let Doxify identify dates, narrations, amounts, balances, and provisional ledger assignments.
Stop discovering bad ledger assignments after the import. Doxify lets you review the extracted transactions, replace Suspense Account entries with your Tally ledger names, and export the updated XML before it reaches Tally.
01 / workflow
A direct bank import can save data entry and still leave the repetitive work untouched. Doxify puts the mapping decision where it is easiest to review: before export.
Upload the bank statement PDF and let Doxify identify dates, narrations, amounts, balances, and provisional ledger assignments.
See which rows need attention instead of opening every imported voucher one by one.
Change Suspense Account or another generic assignment to the ledger used in your Tally company.
Download XML or CSV with the reviewed assignments already applied to the transaction rows.
02 / why it matters
When many bank entries land in Suspense Account, the import has only moved the manual work to a different screen. A reviewer still has to understand each narration, choose the right ledger, and repeat that work for every statement.
A voucher in Suspense Account may be technically imported, but it is not ready for reconciliation, reporting, or client review.
The statement narration and amount are easiest to interpret while the source rows are still visible—not after the rows have been split across imported vouchers.
Once a reviewer replaces a ledger in Doxify, the generated XML and CSV reflect that decision instead of asking the team to repeat it later.
03 / a closer look
The example below is illustrative, not a customer statement. It shows the kind of mapping a CA can make while reviewing the extracted rows.
Fictional row 01
UPI / RAHUL TRADERS
Fictional row 02
NEFT / ACME SUPPLIES
Fictional row 03
SALARY / APRIL
04 / questions
Yes. Review the extracted transaction rows in Doxify, replace Suspense Account or another generic ledger with the ledger name used in your Tally company, and then download the updated XML or CSV.
